We’re Jo & Dom — a husband-and-wife wedding photography duo based in the Greater Toronto Area. As partners in life and in business, we bring both heart and a unique perspective to every wedding we document.

Rooted in our own big Italian families, we understand the depth, emotion, and legacy woven into a wedding day. Storytelling and connection are at the core of what we do, and we approach every celebration with intention — creating imagery that feels honest, timeless, and personal.

About Jo

Jo documents weddings with an intuitive, moment-driven approach shaped by her background in the music industry. Her style blends digital and film, capturing real moments while preserving every detail.

What began as Jo’s solo journey soon became a shared one when she brought Dom into the world of weddings, and they’ve been growing Jo & Dom together ever since. Outside of weddings, Joanna enjoys collecting vinyl records, live music, eating Dom’s incredible cooking, traveling, and playing with their dog, Fifa.

About Dom

Dom began his photography journey shooting film, developing a strong understanding of light, timing, and composition through analog cameras. Today, he shoots both digital and film throughout the day, bringing a thoughtful and steady approach to our coverage.

What started as stepping into Jo’s world quickly became his own creative pursuit. Dom brings a calm presence and a thoughtful eye, capturing the moments unfolding just beyond the spotlight. Outside of weddings, he enjoys the simple rewards of shooting film, eating at their favourite Pizzeria - Badiali, listening to live music, and cooking a great meal at home.

Our Story

We first met on Jo’s front porch.

Dom’s sister had agreed to model for one of Jo’s photoshoots, but when her car broke down, Dom offered to drive her. He arrived with a box of donuts — because, as his Italian family raised him, you never show up empty-handed.

We met that day on Jo’s front steps, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

In October 2025, we got married ourselves, experiencing firsthand the emotions and details that come with planning a wedding.

With Jo’s background in fine arts, we infused our own wedding with creative touches: hand-drawn portraits for every guest, a custom-painted welcome sign, and vinyl records as charger plates — a nod to our love of old-school music.

We really wanted our wedding not just to be an event, but to be an extension of who we are. We try to approach all of our Weddings with this mentality -your photos should reflect you.

Our photography partnership began at a family friend’s wedding, where Jo was photographing. Dom attended as a guest but naturally decided to step in — organizing first looks, gathering family members, and eventually picking up one of Jo’s cameras to shoot alongside her.

What stood out wasn’t just the images he took, but the calm he brought to the day.

After hearing the incredible feedback from the couple and their families, Jo realized she never wanted to photograph a wedding without Dom again.

Dom immersed himself in learning the craft — studying cameras, film, and technique — while Jo guided him along the way. What began as support quickly became a shared vision.

Today, we photograph weddings as partners and equals — balancing instinct and calm, direction and observation.

And it all started on a front porch, with a box of donuts :)
